Current Research

De Novo Protein Inhibitors for Liver Disease

Nora designs entirely new proteins to inhibit intracellular targets that drive liver cancer and chronic viral infection. Her work focuses on proteins traditionally considered “undruggable,” including Myc and HBx. Computational design is paired with biophysical and cellular validation. This effort explores how synthetic proteins can expand the reach of molecular therapeutics.
