Dr. Jared Baeten

Dr. Jared Baeten (entered ’95, graduated ’03) has been an important contributing voice to the conversation of HIV prevention via birth control methods in Africa. Seattle Weekly featured his research. Dr. Baeten is a Associate Professor of Medicine & Global Health here at the University of Washington.


Dr. Brad Bernstein

Brad Bernstein (entered ’92, graduated ‘99) received the 2012 UW Medicine Alumni Association Alumni Early Achievement Award. Dr. Bernstein is Associate Professor of Pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and Associate Member at the Broad Institute. Dr. Jay Rubinstein

Dr. Jay Rubinstein (entered ’82, graduated ’88) was recently quoted in the New York Times regarding the use of an iPhone app as an alternative to a digital hearing aid. Dr. Rubinstein is director of the UW’s Virginia Merrill Bloedel Hearing Research Center, as well as a professor of Otolaryngology and Bioengineering.

Dan Miller publishes paper in Nature
