Jeremy Sims

Entered 2019 | Yale University

I chose to pursue my MD-PhD at UW because of the strength and breadth of research, the extensive laboratory and clinical collaboration opportunities, and the intentional practice of career and life balance. I plan to study drug discovery and infectious disease in lab and clinical contexts, both of which are well supported by the faculty and staff at UW. Additionally, the MSTP program here has a history of fostering a variety of career transitions, from residency to technology-based careers. Though I’ve only been here for a few months, I’ve had a great time so far exploring the quirky city of Seattle through food and soccer.
