Current Research

Computational Prediction of Cardiac Arrhythmias

Matthew develops computational approaches to predict and prevent life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias in congenital heart disease. Machine learning models integrate ECGs, imaging, and clinical data to enable personalized risk assessment. In parallel, biophysically detailed heart models simulate arrhythmia initiation and propagation. The integration of data-driven prediction with mechanistic modeling provides complementary insight into arrhythmia risk.
