UW MSTP Endorses the UW Medicine Pledge Against Racism

Respect for our students and our communities is critical to our mission. In this context, we support the June 4, 2020, UW Medicine Pledge Against Racism and the statement of the American Public Health Association (APHA), Law Enforcement Violence as a Public Health Issue, on which the UW statement is based. The APHA statement is very detailed, with proposals for concrete action. It has gained national recognition as a blueprint for action by clinicians and scientists.
