New Advanced Materials Paper

E-12 UW MSTP student Chris Arakawa (Bioengineering, DeForest Lab) has a new Advanced Materials paper in which he showcases a new way to create blood vessels using lasers and a synthetic light sensitive biomaterial. Using this novel technique and material he successfully has created the world’s smallest artificial human blood vessels to date with complete 4D control and demonstrates a way to create devices and architectures inside the vessel lumen.
